On-site, actor Kim Dong-won described his character, Wang Hae, by saying, "He is a character who lives outwardly as a Joseon person but is of Jurchen military commander descent. He seeks power to achieve his new ambition and a person with a desire to seize the Gyeonggang by gathering power." This sparked curiosity about what kind of bloody storm 'Wang Hae' would bring to the Gyeonggang.
Regarding his preparation for the drama, he also stated, "The main thing I focused on was showing the unfamiliarity of a foreigner rather than the cruelty and viciousness of the Jurchen. As 'Wang Hae' is a person who tenaciously survived to live in a world of bloodshed, I tried to infuse narrative into the action scenes."
<TheMurkyStream>, which is raising expectations after successfully completing its production presentation, will be exclusively released on Disney+ starting with episodes 1-3 on September 26. Two new episodes will be released every week for a total of nine episodes.
