As Disney+'s first original historical series, <TheMurkyStream> is a gripping action drama about people with different dreams who fight to overturn a corrupt world and live a humane life, all centered around the Gyeonggang River where all of Joseon's wealth and goods converge. The series has garnered significant anticipation even before its release, with director Choo Chang-min of <Masquerade> at the helm and writer Cheon Sung-il, who is returning to historical series after 14 years since <The Slave Hunters>, penning the script.
Amidst the three young protagonists pursuing their own versions of justice, the teaser trailer reveals actor Kim Dong-won making a powerful appearance. He is shown in a fierce action scene with actor Ro Woon, who plays Si-yul.
