The KBS2 Monday-Tuesday drama <Love Song for Illusion> is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. It is a fantasy historical romance that tells the story of a man with two conflicting personalities and a woman who loves him, oscillating between pure love and fierce obsession.

In the drama, actor Kim Dong-won plays 'Yang Jae-yi,' the leader of the Wind Blade assassin group. Actor Shin Ki-hwan plays the role of 'Hong-gun,' a reliable friend who stays by Yeonwol's (played by Hong Ye-ji) side through thick and thin.
